This submission examines Australia’s compliance with the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. The report is intended to inform the Human Rights Committee’s sixth review of Australia during the 121st session in October 2017. A delegation of nine NGOs presented this report to the Committee in Geneva. The report was prepared with substantial input from 32 NGO organisations, and was endorsed in whole or in part by 56 NGOs.
