This seminar examines the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of supply chain transparency, with in-depth guidance about how to collaborate with business and civil society and how to respond if a case of modern slavery is identified.

Hosted by Anti-Slavery Australia and UTS Faculty of Law, this seminar will provide an opportunity to conduct a deep dive into:
- analysing and assessing your supply chains for modern slavery risks
- collaborating with business and civil society
- examining how supply chain transparency is good for business and managing your public relations
- responding to cases of modern slavery in your operations or supply chains
The deep dive seminar follows our foundational seminar and is targeted at professionals responsible for leading their organisation’s response to the Australian modern slavery requirements.
This seminar will cover the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth). It will also discuss the NSW Legislative Council Standing Committee on Social Issues inquiry into the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (NSW), the Modern Slavery Amendment Bill 2019 and Modern Slavery Regulation 2019.
