Lawyer and Human Rights Legal Practice Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced lawyer to join our team as our Human Rights Legal Practice Manager.

The Lawyer/Manager will be responsible for providing legal advice and assistance to survivors of modern slavery, mainly for complex matters intersecting different areas of law, within a human rights and legal framework. The role also supports the running of the legal practice by developing and implementing operational policies and procedures, supervising legal team volunteers and students, contributing to law reform initiatives and managing key relationships with external stakeholders, to deliver key human rights outcomes.

We are looking for an experienced lawyer with at least five years’ experience (PQE) in migration law and practice, including experience developing legal practice processes to improve file management, workflow and supervision, and understanding of best practice in working sensitively with vulnerable people from different cultural backgrounds.
