How many slaves do you think you have? It’s a startling question and most, if not all, of us would say we’ve got no slaves at all. But the reality is you’ve probably got plenty of slaves working for you around the world; making your clothes, producing your food and even cleaning your house. Modern slavery is very real; there are around 25 million slaves worldwide and about 4,300 modern slaves in Australia, according to the Australian Human Rights Law Centre.
