The 2014 Freedom Dinner

Anti-Slavery Australia's annual fundraising event, the 2014 Freedom Dinner took place on the 28th of May. On arrival guests enjoyed drinks and canap's as they explored the dazzling White Rabbit Gallery before feasting on a three course dinner designed by Aria's Matt Moran.

The highlight of the evening was hearing the inspiring words of Associate Professor Jennifer Burn as she described her 10 years of experience with survivors of trafficking and slavery and spoke of the importance of Anti-Slavery Australia's continued and specialised support for men, women and children recovering from extreme exploitation.

The attendees all enjoyed competitive bidding throughout the evening for great prizes in the silent auction. The 2014 Freedom Dinner Catalogue details the delicious meal our guests enjoyed on the night, and the fabulous prizes donated by our generous sponsors. You can take a look at some photos from the night through our gallery page.

The event was a great success and raised a significant sum to put towards Anti-Slavery Australia's ongoing legal, research out outreach work with survivors of trafficking, slavery, forced labour and forced marriage.

We would like to thank all of those that attended the Anti-Slavery Australia Freedom Dinner and the generosity of our sponsors and supporters for bringing it together.
