Community Service Announcements and Short films

Anti-Slavery Australia is pleased to announce the release of seven short films to raise awareness of trafficking and slavery in Australia.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Commonwealth Attorney General's department we have been able to produce three thirty second ads and four short videos to raise awareness of these important issues.

The first three short clips show examples of commonly overlooked instances of slavery and labour exploitation in Australia. We have consulted with organisations ACRATH, Asian Women at Work, Attorney General's Department, Australian Federal Police, Australian Institute of Criminology, Australian Red Cross, Project Respect and World Vision to ensure that our approach to these issues is sensitive and appropriate.

The longer films are targeted at various groups including members of the broader Australian community, legal and health professions and secondary school students.

These films will soon be posted on our website and we invite you to view and reflect on their content. In the coming months we plan to distribute them as widely as possible. If you are able to assist us with this we would love to hear from you.
